Cost of education increases for all Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary students in 2022-23 school year

For the 2022-23 school year, tuition at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary rose by 0.3%, as revealed in the most recent disclosure, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students paid $10,234 to attend the private, four-year, not-for-profit institution this year, which is $162 more than the $10,072 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 39% of the undergraduate student body are residents of North Carolina. Another 21% come from other U.S. states, while international students make up about 39% of the population.

Data indicates that 67% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. A total of eight students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $69,604.

Across all undergraduate students, 281 received grants or scholarships totaling $2.3 million.

Undergraduate education costs have seen a significant increase over the past few decades. Data shows a 169% rise in the average total cost, including tuition, fees, room, and board, between 1980 and 2020.
