On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former East Wake Academy standout Owen Schmidt’s current college team, the William Peace Pacers, lost 10-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Guilford Quakers.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Quakers this season.

The Pacers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Muskingum Fighting Muskies.
