North Carolina Courage defender Kaleigh Kurtz has been recognized in the NWSL Best XI for October and November, as announced by the league office. This marks her first monthly honor of 2024. Kurtz is the fourth player from the Courage to receive this distinction this season. Her teammate, Malia Berkely, was named to the Best XI in March/April and September, while Ashley Sanchez and Meredith Speck were honored in July.

Kurtz’s performance during the four matches within the award period included winning two tackles and 15 duels, making five interceptions and 24 clearances, and achieving an 87.9% pass completion rate without committing any fouls.

Kurtz recently completed her third consecutive Iron Woman season, maintaining her NWSL-record streak for consecutive regular season minutes.

The North Carolina Courage will face the Kansas City Current in the quarterfinals of the NWSL playoffs on Saturday at noon ET. The match will be available on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
