On Saturday, April 5, former East Wake Academy standout Owen Schmidt’s current college team, the William Peace Pacers, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.
The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their third matchup against the Battling Bishops this season.
The Pacers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Harvey-Dryden Field against Southern Virginia Knights.
