Town of Holly Springs issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
New Council Members to Be Sworn In; Outgoing Council Members to Be Honored
Holly Springs - Two new Council Members will be sworn in at the Town of Holly Springs Council meeting tonight. Shaun McGrath and Aaron Wolff will begin their four year terms after winning seats in the November election. McGrath is a commercial airline pilot and retired Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, who served most recently as Chairman of the Holly Springs Planning Board. Wolff is a veterinarian and small business owner.
Outgoing Council members Cheri Lee and Tom O'Brien will also be honored for their service tonight. Councilwoman Lee has spent the last eight years on the Holly Springs Town Council and serves as a Triangle J Council of Government Board Member, a member of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, and the Civic Nonprofit Grants Committee. Councilman O'Brien has been on the Holly Springs Town Council for the last four years, serving as Mayor Pro Tem for the last two years. He is a member of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, the Transit Planning Advisory Committee and Technical Review Committee.
