Bandwidth Inc., a technology software company located in North Carolina, plans to create approximately 1,200 jobs in the state within the next eight years.
The company, which sells communications software to technology firms, announced a $103 million investment that to expand its headquarters and operations to Raleigh, according to WSOCTV. Currently, the company is located on North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus.
Bandwith Inc. will create 1,165 jobs, which will pay $97,000 annually, according to WSOCTV. If the company meets certain job-creation and investment requirements each year, it can receive up to $32.8 million over the next 12 years from the state.
The new project will also allow thousands of parking spots for a new state Agriculture Sciences Building to be created, according to WSOCTV.
WSOCTV said the company currently has 750 employees, with many operations located in Rochester, New York and Denver.
