The deadline for nonprofit groups to apply for grants from the Morrisville Community Fund is quickly approaching.
Grant applications are due by noon on Tuesday, July 28.
“Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general community needs in Morrisville,” grant administer the North Carolina Community Foundation posted to its website.
The foundation started taking applications for grants on June 26. Applicants are required to read the grant guidelines before applying and if those guidelines aren’t followed, applications might not be considered, the foundation said on its website.
There are training modules on the foundation website on how to create a profile and add a grant application.
The North Carolina Community Foundation was established in 1988 to “Inspire North Carolinians to make lasting and meaningful contributions to their communities,” the foundation's website said. Since then, it has awarded more than than $161 million in grants. It has more than $284 million in assets.
It works with affiliated foundations throughout North Carolina.
“An important component of NCCF’s mission is to ensure that rural philanthropy has a voice at local, regional and national levels,” the organization says on its website.
