TOWN OF MORRISVILLE: Morrisville Providing Free Face Coverings

Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on July 16.

The Town of Morrisville will be providing free cotton face coverings to residents, beginning Monday, July 20, from 12 -1 p.m., at the Western Region Food Security Action Group’s emergency food distribution site at Crosstimbers Apartments, 900 Golden Horseshoe Circle.

Distribution for residents will occur twice weekly, mainly at locations where people are already safely gathering, such as the Western Region Food Security Action Group’s distribution site and the Western Wake Farmers’ Market. Residents can follow the Town’s social media platforms to get information and updates about contactless mask pick-up locations, dates, and times.

Face Covering Distribution for Businesses

Contactless face mask distribution for businesses and organizations will be by request. Please contact the town via email at information@townofmorrisville.org to request free face coverings for your organization. When emailing provide the following:

  • Your name
  • Contact (phone and email)
  • Organization
  • Address for drop-off
  • Requested number of face masks
During this pandemic, Morrisville residents are strongly encouraged to remain committed to each other's safety and wellbeing by practicing the 3Ws - wearing a face covering, waiting 6 feet apart (social distancing) and washing your hands or using hand sanitizer.
