Knightdale Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Walmart of Knightdale hosted us this year for our annual Shop With a Cop event. We did it this year in honor of fallen officer Ryan Hayworth. He would have absolutely loved this. We are so grateful for the many donations from our community partners such as Prime BBQ, Grand Street Pizza, Sports Page, Wake Stone, Swifts Fine Jewelry, Besi Machining, PIC Publications, and many many more of our kind citizens. The kids and our officers had a wonderful time together.
