Knightdale Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 28.
Knightdale Please lock your car doors at night and PLEASE remove visible valuables from inside your cars. We had another series of vehicle break ins last night in the Myrick Downs area and a vehicle stolen from Park Avenue. These vehicles were all unlocked. These are preventable crimes and we need your help!! We want to keep our community safe and free of crime like this but we cannot do it alone. We need your help. If you live in Myrick Downs and you have any outdoor surveillance, we would love to know if you have any images of suspicious activity. Let’s keep Knightdale safe and secure together.
