Town of Knightdale issued the following announcement on Mar. 3.
Hey Knightdale, please be advised that 346 Engineer Company (Army Reserves) will be conducting drill training March 4-6, at Panthers Rock, which backs up to a few houses in Cheswick. Three groups of Soldiers with rucks and battle gear on will be practicing battle drills in the woods/open, but there will be NO WEAPONS or any dangerous-looking items used or brought to the park. There may be some noise from yelled commands or activity between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm. The Soldiers may also potentially drive tactical vehicles to and from the area, so please DO NOT BE ALARMED.
