TOWN OF HOLLY SPRINGS PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT: Fun and Free Activities Pop Ups

Town of Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Departmentment issued the following announcement on July 22.

Celebrate National Park and Recreation Month with Holly Springs Parks & Recreation! Fun and free activities will be popping up on Tuesday, July 26 beginning at 8:30 a.m. See the activity schedule below.

8:30-9:30 a.m. Biggest Fish Contest at Bass Lake Park

A prize will be given to whomever catches the biggest fish within the hour. Please note that any participants over the age of 16 will need a valid fishing license. 

Noon-1 p.m. Open Gym & Free Throw Contest at W.E. Hunt Recreation Center

Come out for an hour of free basketball! Prizes will be given for the free throw contests.

Noon-1 p.m. Adult Ballroom Dance Class at Holly Springs Cultural Center

Try out a new ballroom dance class that will be offered in the fall. Space is limited, so we ask for participants to sign up in advance. The signup form is available online at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050d4aa9ae2aa4f49-free.

2-3 p.m. Free "Parksicles" at Womble Park 

Staff will be handing out free popsicles at the Womble Park picnic shelter.

7:30-8:30 p.m. Adult Ballroom Dance Class at Holly Springs Cultural Center
