The Town of Wendell issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
‘Tis the season of giving! The Town of Wendell’s Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Drive is approaching the deadline on December 2nd.
You can donate toys for kids up to age 12 at any of the following locations:
Wendell Town Hall
Wendell Police Department
Wendell Community Center
Wendell Public Works
Wendell Wonderland Event, December 2nd from 5 to 9 p.m.
A big thank you to East Wake Television, Corporal Mays of Toys for Tots Raleigh and DaQuanta Copeland of 2B's Brains & Brothers "2 Smart 2 Be Statistics" for their time and hard work supporting this cause!
The Marines have a hard time fulfilling toys for ages 0-2 and 9-12, so please consider donating new, unwrapped toys for these age groups to help them out. The Town of Wendell wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving and appreciates your generosity in spreading kindness this holiday season!
