Town of Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Start the new year off right with a guided greenway walk led by Holly Springs Parks & Recreation staff.
As part of the NC Year of the Trail initiative, communities across the state are hosting trail events on Jan. 1.
Become part of the fun by joining us at NC First Day Outdoors Guided Greenway Walk: Oak Leaf Greenway at 9 a.m. Participants should park and meet at Oakview Elementary.
Hot chocolate and coffee will be provided after the walk.
Please park and meet at the parking lot of Oakview Elementary School. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided at the end of the walk.
