TOWN OF CARY: Herb Young Community Center, Cary Senior Center to Serve as Early Voting Sites Starting Today, Until May 14

Town of Cary issued the following announcement on Apr. 28.

Beginning Thursday, April 28, two locations in Cary will serve as one-stop early voting sites. Voters can cast ballots at Herbert C. Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave., or the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury O’Dell Pl., at the following times through May 14:

  • Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Sundays, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Voters in Wake County can check the wait time prior to going to the poll by checking the Early Voting Wait Time Tracker. We encourage voters to check wait times prior to going to the polls, especially on weekends.

Cary residents who reside in Chatham County and Durham County may vote at the early voting locations within their county. More information about voting in Chatham and Durham county are available on the respective Chatham County and Durham County websites.

If residents choose to vote on Election Day (May 17), their precinct polling location can be found by using the NC State Board of Election Voter Information Look Up tool.

During early voting and on Election Day, GoCary Fixed Route and Tier 1 Door to Door service will continue to be fare free for all trips.
