TOWN OF HOLLY SPRINGS: Welcome to our new Town Council Member, Danielle Hewetson

Town of Holly Springs issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.

The Holly Springs Town Council has appointed Danielle Hewetson as the Town’s newest Council Member. Hewetson has lived in Holly Springs for the past 6 years and is honored to be chosen.

“I am so grateful that the other Council Members saw in me the qualities they believed would best serve the Town of Holly Springs,” said Council Member Hewetson. “I know that my love for this town and my passion for its continued growth will have a positive impact on the future of Holly Springs.”

Hewetson has been actively involved in the Holly Springs community, serving on the Town’s Board of Adjustment. She has an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati and had a career as a Sales and Marketing Executive before moving to Holly Springs to start a family. She has three kids ages 5, 3.5 and 2 and is currently a stay-at-home mom with an at-home baking business.

“I applied to fill the vacancy left by Council Member Kristi Bennett because I believed that I was the best individual to fill the space that she left on Town Council,” said Hewetson. “I saw this as an opportunity to become involved in something truly positive and magical. Holly Springs is the best place to call home and to raise a family. For years I have felt a pull to be a part of that magic – to be deeply involved and help promote the growth and development of the Town so that every resident may feel exactly like I do about calling Holly Springs home.”

Hewtson will hit the ground running by attending the Town Council’s annual retreat in a few weeks. Her ceremonial swearing-in ceremony will take place at the February 21 Town Council business meeting at Town Hall. Her seat will be up for municipal election in November of this year.
