The North Carolina Courage announced that midfielder Victoria Pickett will be loaned to AFC Toronto in the Northern Super League. The loan agreement, which includes a fee, is set to commence on February 1, 2025, and will last until December 31, 2025.

During her tenure with the Courage, Pickett participated in 29 regular-season games over two seasons. She contributed one goal and one assist in a total of 836 minutes on the field. Additionally, she played in eight cup competitions. Her involvement included helping the team secure victory in the 2023 NWSL Challenge Cup and reaching the semifinals of the 2024 NWSLxLiga MX Femenil Summer Cup.

Pickett joined the Courage through a trade from Gotham FC in 2023. Initially drafted by Kansas City Current as the 15th overall pick in 2021 from the University of Wisconsin, Pickett was recognized as a two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection during her collegiate career. She played parts of two seasons with Kansas City, making appearances in 35 games with 30 starts before being traded to Gotham FC in August 2022.

As of now, the Courage have a roster of 33 players for preseason camp, including 27 under contract and 26 active.
